Talking trends with Kerrie-Ann Jones

Earlier this month we were delighted to welcome esteemed Interior Stylist Kerrie-Ann Jones to the Huntley + Co showroom for our exclusive STYLE MINDS event. Kerrie-Ann is one of Australia’s most sought-after Stylists, renowned for her work with leading furniture and homewares brands, as well as her award-winning projects for interior designers and residential clients. With acclaimed contributions to publications including Inside Out, Belle, House & Garden, and Marie Claire, and her role as co-host of the House of Style podcast, it was an honour to have Kerrie-Ann in our very own showroom, providing inspiring hands on styling demonstrations to our clients, using furniture and decor exclusively from the Huntley + Co range.

Furthermore, Kerrie-Ann did a talk on Interior Trends for 2024 and here are some of the key takeaways from her insightful presentation:

  • Colours that are trending: Clay pink, tan, burgundy and deep chocolate
  • Textures and finishes that are trending: Silver tones, burlwood and warm walnut
  • Design styles that are trending: Brutalist design – Raw and robust finishes such as steel, glass, raw concrete and timber in organic, unrefined carved shapes
  • Stylistic trends: Skirts, bows, silverware, bedcovers, coffee table board games, lantern lamps, atmospheric art and rich oversized tapestry wall art

It was a fantastic presentation that both our clients and team found hugely informative. A number of these trends have recently been introduced into our Huntley + Co range but watch this space for more additions coming in the Spring 2024 collection.

STYLE MINDS is a quarterly event hosted by Huntley + Co, exclusively for our trade clients, to connect, learn, and be inspired by renowned guest speakers and industry personalities. Bringing together a community of like-minded creatives, STYLE MINDS offers a forum for sharing industry experiences and insights and is one of the many perks of being a Huntley + Co trade client.
