Every year the Pantone Colour Institute’s experts select a hue for the year ahead – a shade that you can expect to see popping up in fashion, home decor, design, beauty and more. For 2025, Pantone Colour Institute has gone with “a soft, warming brown” as its chosen hue — a tone that it says symbolises thoughtful indulgence, harmonious comfort and feelings of contentment. That shade: Mocha Mousse.
“Underpinned by our desire for every day pleasures, Pantone 17-1230 Mocha Mousse expresses a level of thoughtful indulgence. Sophisticated and lush, yet at the same time an unpretentious classic, it extends our perceptions of the browns from being humble and grounded to embrace aspirational and luxe” said Pantone Colour Institute Executive Director Leatrice Eiseman.
