Showroom + Warehouse Tour

For those who haven’t had a chance to come explore our Artarmon showroom yet, we wanted to take you for a quick behind the scenes with Huntley + Co.

Our Huntley + Co HQ holds our beautiful showroom and accessories warehouse. In the showroom space you’ll find a small selection of our furniture on display. We rotate and restyle these settings periodically throughout the year to best showcase a range of our stunning pieces. Although all of our furniture is catalogued online, you are always welcomed to make an appointment to come have an explore in person.

We have just styled up our new bedroom setting that celebrates our latest style crush: warm russet tones and natural linens. We have chosen to pair these accessories against our simple Bonnie Queen Headboard in Pebble for a clean backdrop and our Avery Buffet in Elm to complement the warmth.

In another pod, we have chosen to play with that uptown modern aesthetic that celebrates a monochrome palette. It features our team’s favourite combination: the Felix Dining Chairs in Vanilla with the Bentley Dining Table in Black. To add some life to the space, we have also added a fresh fiddle-leaf fig tree and some deep inky blue artwork. We also can’t forget our stunning new pair of vases that adds an element of sculptural sophistication.

Here is one little sneak peek at a few of the other settings we have on display at the moment, but you will have to come in to see them in all of their glory!

The other portion of our space is our beloved accessories warehouse. It is a stylist’s wonderland with every cushion, prop, lamp, rug, plant, vase or art piece you could ever need. Having accessories organised and displayed for easy access is our thing here, so our shelves are all divided into categories, purpose and then by colour or style.

Our cushion wall is our pride and joy with the racks overflowing with beautiful cushions. We also have our greenery wall with all of the plants displayed upright and ready for selection. The stock in our warehouse is constantly rotating as our lovely clients make selections and we continue to expand our range with new accessories.

If you rent the Display Stock for the purpose of marketing and selling a property and sale contracts exchange or the property is withdrawn from sale before the end of the Term, then:

  • we may request to collect the Display Stock immediately, at our discretion;
  • if this occurs during any ‘free weeks’ period of the Term in which there are no applicable Rental Fees, then you must allow us to collect the Display Stock early; and
  • in all other cases, if you accept our request, we will arrange early collection.

Schedule 1 – Risk Protection: fire, flood, theft, vandalism

(a)     Defined terms in this Schedule have the same meaning as in the Terms and Conditions above.

(b)     The terms in this Schedule apply if you choose to acquire risk protection when you place an Order.

(c)     You must pay us the fee for Risk Protection specified in the Schedule of Fees (Risk Protection Fee).

(d)     Upon payment of the Risk Protection Fee and subject to clause (e) below, for the duration of the Term, we release you from the Display Stock Indemnity in clause 15.2(c) to the extent that Loss arises from any of the following events (each a Defined Event):

(i)     theft and/or vandalism of one or more of the Display Stock items, resulting from a forcible entry, and provided that the theft or vandalism has been reported to the police station nearest to the Property within 48 hours of the event; and/or

(ii)     fire or flood damage to one or more of the Display Stock resulting from a fire or flood in the Property.

(Risk Protection)

(e)     The Risk Protection is subject to the following conditions.

(i)     Risk Protection does not extend to wilful or intentional acts committed directly or indirectly by you, or any party ordinarily resident at the Property.

(ii)     You must notify us of the occurrence of a Defined Event within 3 Business Days of the event occurring.

(iii)     Upon the happening of a Defined Event causing loss or damage to one or more items of Display Stock, you must pay us an excess per item of Display Stock lost, destroyed or damaged up to a maximum aggregate excess (per Schedule of Fees).
