Tell us a little about yourself and what brought you to Huntley + Co?
I’m originally from England, my background is in customer service and real estate across Sydney’s Northern Beaches. My experience in real estate gave me a sincere appreciation for property, presentation and, most importantly, the relationships you build with clients along the way.
I was drawn to Huntley + Co because they bring together two things I’m really passionate about: beautiful interiors and exceptional customer service. I love being able to work closely with our clients, understand what they’re trying to achieve and help make the process as seamless as possible. There’s nothing better than seeing a project come together and knowing you’ve played a part in making it happen.
Do you have any particular design style or trend that you are drawn to?
I’m naturally drawn to a modern coastal or farmhouse aesthetic – warm, relaxed and inviting, with a contemporary edge. I love neutral foundations layered with beautiful textures, natural materials and subtle pops of colour.
I’m particularly drawn to spaces that feel fresh and effortless while still having plenty of character. I think the best interiors strike that balance between being beautifully styled and still feeling like somewhere you’d genuinely want to live.
What does great customer service mean to you?
For me, great customer service is about genuinely listening, being proactive and making people feel looked after from start to finish.
I always want my clients to feel that they can pick up the phone, ask a question or throw a last-minute request my way and know that I’ll do everything I can to help. It’s about being reliable, approachable and going that extra step wherever possible.
Ultimately, I think great service is about building relationships rather than simply completing a transaction. I want our clients to feel confident that they have someone in their corner.
Coffee or Tea?
Coffee in the morning, tea in the afternoon. Although being English, I’d be slightly concerned about my reputation if I said anything other than tea!
I’m constantly popping the kettle on at work, so there’s a very good chance I’ll offer you a tea or coffee within the first five minutes of meeting you. It’s practically part of my customer service strategy.
What does your perfect weekend look like?
My perfect weekend involves good food, good company and being outdoors. I love heading to the beach, finding a great café or restaurant and making the most of the beautiful spots around Sydney.
I also can’t resist a good Facebook Marketplace find, so there’s a very good chance my weekend might involve hunting down an interior gem that I absolutely “need” for the home!
